I haven't done a Sound Travels post in a very long time, but then I haven't spent much time listening to music lately. I stumbled on this and found both the music and the video to be lovely. I didn't even think about it being a Lou Reed song (pre-punk Lou).

I love Allison Krauss and Robert Plant! And, my mother was listening to the new Susan Boyle album when I spoke to her today after church. It's so lovely to hear her voice, a true singer, instead of being caught up in the external (like Lady Gaga) we're caught up in her ability.
