As for me, the best I can do is cycle, and even now when I usually ride for miles I'm not doing so well. It's so very hot here in Illinois that all I can seem to muster up these days is a fine whine. So, hooray for you!Bellezza https://www.blogger.com/profile/18073864187188953633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28411057.post-74037659977425991772012-07-14T12:40:15.516-07:002012-07-14T12:40:15.516-07:00Yeah, that's what I look like too ... I'm feeling much better - both physically and mentally. I'm starting to look forward to my runs and I'm so proud of myself when I make it out there. I so hope I can continue this - I want to be a runner and not just a plodder ;-) ... and of course I've toyed about making a running blog too ... haven't done it yet though but maybe ... Maybe it will be a way to keep me running?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28411057.post-1089289379797862352012-07-11T13:37:56.210-07:002012-07-11T13:37:56.210-07:00Congratulations, Terri! Missed the summer session, but want to give it a try this fall. LOVE the picture, too - very funny!JoAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13691864361197071517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28411057.post-24539913713861320742012-07-06T09:43:12.382-07:002012-07-06T09:43:12.382-07:00The "after I'm done" feeling is exac...The "after I'm done" feeling is exactly what is so addicting!

Your reasons for starting to run are EXACTLY what I went through just a few weeks ago! It was a recent post at Coffee and a Book Chick and then I also decided to have it as my first post on This Chick Will Run. I was so overwhelmed with work one day that I just RAN. It was exhilarating!Natalie ~ This Chick Will Runhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06984709819766693301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28411057.post-156422332881073912012-07-06T04:06:24.514-07:002012-07-06T04:06:24.514-07:00That image is so cute, Congrats to you for getting...That image is so cute, Congrats to you for getting healthy. Not always super excited about it beforehand, but luckily I crave the "after I'm done feeling" enough that it motivates me! I got started because I was SO angry about something one day that the only thing I could think was "RUN." Apparently needed to burn off adrenaline. Felt so good afterwards that I really wanted to do it again.

Natalie: I'm looking forward to checking out your new blog! I'm glad to have the link here :)Terri B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12215878121282668358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28411057.post-25984501802818967022012-07-05T10:57:04.019-07:002012-07-05T10:57:04.019-07:00Oops! Running has really resonated with me lately, and I really hope I don't give up.

I just started another blog this week and I'm spending a little more time over there lately, and I have plans to spend even more time. I NEED to lose weight, I NEED to relieve stress, so I CANNOT stop running. I have to keep going!

And Jenn (The Picky Girl) above and I tweeted the other day and it was such a good reminder to read about other bookish folks that enjoy this and adding running into our "life changes." I love it!

Oh, gawd, I'm giggling again looking at that picture.Natalie ~ This Chick Will Runhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06984709819766693301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28411057.post-78396419354023886282012-07-05T10:42:05.264-07:002012-07-05T10:42:05.264-07:00Natalie and I were just talking about jogging the ...Natalie and I were just talking about jogging the other day on Twitter. I had to stop jogging after an injury last year and really didn't miss it.

But I got super ticked off after a rather annoying doctor's visit (about said injury) and immediately went and ran. It felt so good, and honestly, as much as I hate it while I'm doing it, I feel amazing when I'm finished.

Glad it's been something you enjoy, too, and congrats on meeting your weight loss goal!pickyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01906861942472773405noreply@blogger.com
