Lot's of tagging goin' on ...

Tagged again! This time E. Peevie at The Green Room tagged me with the following questions:

1) What was I doing 10 years ago?
Pretty much what I'm doing now. I'm boring. Same job, same home, same trips to Colorado. That was the year I bought my first car; previous to that Mr. Distortion and I walked, rode our bikes (as in the self-powered kind), took the bus, and shared one car.

2.) What are 5 things on my to-do list for today (not in any particular order):
Today, which is almost over ...watch Dr. Who, watch Battlestar Galactica, write a book review, sleep. Tomorrow morning ... shop for a dress to wear at my sister's wedding.

3) Snacks I enjoy:
Cafe latte, something chocolatey, Trader Joe's fake cheetos.

4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
Buy a house on a mountain lake, get Mr. Distortion set up with his own recording studio, make sure my mom is financially secure, invest, donate.

5) Places I have lived:
Toledo, Phoenix, Glendale, Fullerton. I've spent so much time in Colorado that I feel like I've lived there too.

6.) Jobs I have had:
Tutor, waitress, CRT operator, administrative assistant, wire operator, assistant operations manager, interim operations manager, library paraprofessional, librarian/professor, consultant.

  1. I LOVE Battlestar Gallactica! I currently have Season 3, disk 1 from Netflix--but I'm trying to figure out how to watch the season 2.5 epis. Have you seen them? Are they online?

Also: some of my favorite people are librarians.

    Thanks for playing.

  2. e. peevie: I haven't checked to see if 2.5 is online since I have the DVDs (couldn't help that purchase). In fact, my first experience watching TV shows online was my recent discovery of Lost episodes available online in HD -- for free! I'm still getting used to the idea.

  3. I watched the first season of Battlestar Gallactica and then we ended up missing the show after that for some reason. I want to get copies off the DVD's so I can watch the show from start to finish. It's such a good show.

Good luck with the dress shopping tomorrow. Do you know what kind of dress you are looking for or just going with anything you can find?

  4. Literary Feline: I'm the matron of honor at my sister's wedding and she is not having any other bridesmaids. She sent me a paint card with the color range and a picture of her dress and told me I could get what I wanted. This made my job easier. I went to a bridal store this morning and found something really nice, 2 pieces so I don't have such a fit problem, and nothing too young or froofy. It is elegant, tea length, and in a lovely lavendar color. The only thing making me nervous is that I have the bottom coming from a store in Illinois and the top coming from a store in Utah! I should have the pieces in hand by next weekend. Wish me luck and think good thoughts toward the postal service ;o)

  5. The dress sounds very nice, Terri! Good luck with the postal service! I prefer two pieces too, if I can help it. Like you said, they seem to fit so much better.
